We carried out the renewal of our product with Gusta and the result has been excellent, both in design and usability, uncovering the real needs of users. You can feel the care and dedication they put into their work. The collaboration and knowledge transfer to the team have been exceptional. Highly recommended.

Nixfarma has been a reference in pharmacy management software for nearly 40 years, powering day-to-day operations for pharmacies across Spain and Portugal. Despite its reliability, the interface hadn't seen a major update in over 20 years. When Pulso brought us in, the challenge was clear: improve something thousands of pharmacists already rely on, without breaking what works.

The platform covers everything from sales and purchases to electronic prescriptions and performance dashboards, serving everyone from the owner to the pharmacist at the front desk. With that much happening at once, getting the details right really matters. That's what made accessibility the heart of this project. Pharmacy screens are often embedded in counters, behind glass, sometimes with sunlight reflecting off them. A focus group of colorblind pharmacists made it even clearer how much room there was to improve. We built a design system with accessible colors and typography, a custom icon set for the many scenarios across the platform, and a dashboard with themes adapted to different users and contexts.

Early on, through discovery sessions and UX audits, we learned that many pharmacists felt they were only scratching the surface of what Nixfarma could do. That led us to design NixIA, an AI companion accessible from every corner of the platform, helping pharmacists make better decisions across all operations.

The new version of Nixfarma, including NixIA, launched at a major industry event bringing together pharmacies, partners, and distributors from across the country.
