What we did

UX/UI design Design system Prototyping Usability testing UX audit

Jeanologia has spent nearly 30 years replacing the textile industry’s most harmful processes, from chemical washes to sandblasting, with laser technology. Today their machines operate in over 75 countries, used by brands from Levi’s and Uniqlo to luxury brands like Chanel. Half of all denim produced globally now runs through their technology.

We designed the software suite at the heart of that ecosystem. eDesigner is the tool fashion designers use to apply laser-marked finishes on large touchscreens, turning creative vision into a production-ready garment. We redesigned the full experience to make that process faster and more intuitive, reducing the dependency on physical prototypes and its waste along the way. A curated library of patterns, washes, and cuts gives designers a strong starting point and keeps them current with what the technology can do. Everything we introduced was captured in a scalable design system: updated colors, a full custom icon set, and a consistent visual language across the suite.

That same system powers eMark, the software used on the factory floor. Through discovery sessions with operators from Bangladesh, Turkey, and Mexico, we got a real understanding of fast-paced production environments and difficult lighting conditions. The result is an interface that communicates clearly without relying on words, using icon-based, step-by-step guidance that works at a glance.

Finally, we laser-marked our own denim jackets to put it to the test ourselves.
