UX/UI design Design system Prototyping Brand identity Motion design

Thanqs is a gifting platform that helps companies send personalized gifts to employees and clients at exactly the right moment. From a birthday or a work anniversary to a new client deal or special milestone. Set it up once and Thanqs handles the rest.

We were involved from the very beginning, ideating the brand identity and shaping the product UX from scratch. Designing both together meant every decision, from the logo to the automation flow, could reinforce the same feeling.

Brand foundation

The logo takes a gift box as its foundation, expanding it with a heart to represent the warm gesture behind every gift, and a subtle T as a wink to the name. Four principles shaped every decision that followed: gifting made fun, people-centered, tailored details, and easy to automate.

A visual system designed to match the feeling of receiving something thoughtful

Receiving a gift brightens someone’s day. Using Thanqs should feel the same way. So we wanted the brand, and the way the tool looks and feels, to reflect that. This led to a bold color palette featuring purple, pink, yellow, and blue, with a wide range of supporting colors throughout the interface. That same energy runs through the icons: bold and colorful, matching each occasion.

Automated, personalized gifting at scale

At the core of Thanqs is automation. Managers can connect their preferred HR or CRM, define the criteria for each automation, and the platform recognizes the right moment to send the right gift.

Automated gifts that require approval end up in the queue, sorted by urgency. Smaller gifts can be set to go straight into production, enabling powerful flows at scale that increase both customer and employee satisfaction.

We are very satisfied with the collaboration with Gusta. The team quickly understands your goals and actively contributes ideas. What we particularly appreciate is their practical approach: getting straight to the point and understanding processes without getting bogged down in details. Communication is pleasant, lines of communication are short, and you can tell that truly committed people work there. For Thanqs, this has resulted in a user-friendly system and appearance that we are still happy with every day.

From choosing a suitable gift for each occasion to versatile personalization options, the manual gifting flow is just as thoughtful. For larger lists, recipients can be imported directly from a spreadsheet. Variables make every gift feel personal, even when sending hundreds at once.

Beyond the core product, we covered the entire user experience of the tool, from transactional emails to settings that let organizations tailor Thanqs to the way they work.

We also created a short one-minute explainer video to bring it all together, covering what Thanqs is, how it works, and why it matters.
